The organic ingredients of the Awakening Essence were already been used by the Egyptians and the ancient Greek. They discovered the protecting, restoring and soothing properties of the ingredients. Used regularly the skin will appear plumper, tighter and rejuvenated.
The direct effect is the awakening of the skin and the activation of the blood circulation. It immediately reduces dullness and promotes a more radiant skin.

APPLICATION:
After cleaning and drying the skin, apply one or two pumps of the Awaking Essence to your face. One pump for neck and one or two for bust area. After the Awakening Essence is applied, massage or dap the product for a couple of seconds on the skin.
Use the Awakening Essence daily before applying moisturizer and or night cream. Rich in Green walnut oil, Aloe vera, Donkey milk, Hyaluronic acid, Marine collagen, Propolis, Essential oils and Greek Mountain water, your skin will love you for this daily indulgence. Due to our strict policy of no chemical ingredients we certainly don’t use emulsifiers either. So you can discover tiny pieces of Aloe vera which dissolve when applied to the skin.
The Awakening Essence has a rich texture, a natural pleasant scent and is quickly absorbed by the skin. For the ultimate effect you will be needing only one or two pumps. Ideal as anti-aging lotion, also for neck and bust.
If used on a long term it will restore the volume, tightness and resilience of the skin. Awakening Essence protects the skin against pollution, dehydration, fatigue and sun damage. The anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredients are helping the skin to restore of acne, infections or eventual allergies.

Creating an organic, chemical free and above all a social and environmental responsible product from sustainable agriculture was our vision.
Philyra’s Secret sources ingredients from a region of the world known as a Blue Zone.
On the island of Samos in Greece, we met an amazing Herbalist and Homeopath who uses self-harvested herbs, plants and flower extracts in their purest form to provide her patients and clients with their needed remedies.
By combining our forces and knowledge, we where able to literally make our dream come true – real organic products that are chemical free and, most importantly, free of animal testing.
‘The Secret’ behind Philyra is that all of our ingredients are hand-harvested and there is no use of chemical pesticides during the growing process, which keeps the plants to in purest form. Preservatives are not needed in Philyra’s Secret products because the combination of essential oils and ingredients already do the magic for us.
To insure that we minimalize our ecological footprint, we have made the following decisions .Philyra’s Secret uses recycled or recyclable packaging to contain our ‘moon cycle hand-harvested’ and manufactured ingredients from Samos. We have made exclusive contracts with our partner on our beloved island Samos to not expand into a factory production, in order to protect it from industrial harm.
This is also the reason why most of Philyra’s Secrets products are seasonally made and therefore available in limited stock to prevent nature from exhaustion or using chemicals to produce synthetically.
But not to worry, we work with a pre-order system to ensure that Philyra’s Secret will always be your beauty secret too!

Once upon a time, there was an inspirational hairdresser called Guido and his client Yvonne. Having connected deeper through their love of nature, and both on what seemed an everlasting quest for natural hair, skin and body products, they soon became very good friends as well!
As a full-time working mother of three children and two dogs, along with a husband, Yvonne attaches great importance to always look good and care for herself in the best possible way. Also the owner of a gorgeous vacation home in Italy, spending time in the country has inspired her natural way of living, including the use of homeopathy to heal the body. Honesty and compassion, as well as classic style matter for Yvonne. She never settles for less.
As an internationally acclaimed hairdresser and global master educator, Guido oozes an incredible love and sense of style and beauty from his pores. When growing up with his devoted grandmother in the Bavarian countryside, he developed a knowledge of plants and herbs and their powers. Because of his extensive knowledge of ingredients, over his more than 25-year career, his aversion of synthetic manufactured products grew. Five years ago, he made the decision to dedicate himself to his inner passion and only work with natural products in his salon.
When suffering from a skin rash and using everything so-called “natural”, as well as Cortisol prescribed by his doctor, neither helped Guido. In fact, it got worse until he went to Greece on holiday and a friend (who also has sensitive skin) introduced him to “the herbal lady”. He went to visit this herbal lady and discovered skincare that only contains pure organic and biodynamic ingredients from the island, using the knowledge of ancient herbal remedies and plants to produce. After 24 hours of using her body lotion, Guido was blown away by the result — not only had the rash completely disappeared, but he had never experience more soft and nourished skin.
Bringing as much home as he could, Yvonne and Guido realized that they had finally found what both of them had been seeking for years.
And so the story has begun, and their star — Philyra’s Secret — was born!
Connecting with what soon became our now dear friend Birgit, “the herbal lady” in Greece, we began designing exclusive formulas from the Blue Zone island to create Philyra’s Secret and share the wonders and powers of truly natural magic with our world!

Mother Earth is very important to us!
In every step of our production and decision we consider the environment. Our bottles are made of upcycled materials. Philyra’s products are made and produced in Europe to lower our carbon footprint. All of our products do not contain preservatives or chemical ingredients and therefore don’t leave any residue in the water.
Our sun products also have no impact on the oceans because they are completely organic. The ingredients are hand harvested with the outmost respect of nature’s cycle. That is the reason why sometimes you will have to wait a couple of days longer before our products arrive.
We don’t exhaust nature by overproduction and try to figure out when and what to produce so we have just what we need. We also try to avoid any extra packaging during the delivery process. It is all very new to us and we have to try different or upgraded methods and ways to stay true to Philyra’s Philosophy.
Our local producers don’t use any pesticides because they respect nature as our most valuable supplier.

Absolutely not. We believe in the power of nature and therefore in organic ingredients. Using unique ingredient cocktails to manufacture Philyra’s Secret products and to satisfy our thrive for perfection, we choose pure organic ingredients or a hydrosol (essence).
We use our ingredients in their purest form or a hydrosol (essence) of the ingredient. As we know everyone can have an allergy or an intolerance to certain ingredients. To prevent an allergic reaction or such during a full application, a skin patch test (pulse or elbow area) is a safe way to test your skins tolerance on any product.
Of course we would love to say ‘no you can’t’. But to be honest, if you have a favorite product in your routine why not? Of course there can always occur a case here and there that certain combinations don’t like each other, but every skin is different just like ourselves. Just give it a try.
Our products are handmade and purely organic. Depending on the season you can find a slight difference in color and texture of your product eventually. It’s very important to shake your product very well before using it every single time. We don’t use chemical emulsifiers and to ensure perfection every time when using our products, just shake the bottle .
All our products are handmade. The ingredients are hand harvested to make sure within every step of the production process they will get enough love to indulge your skin.
When mixing the ingredients mother nature does the trick for us. A lot of ingredients have, amongst many beautifying properties, the ability to preserve the product by being antibacterial or antiseptic. Green Walnut oil, Olive oil, Apricot kernel oil and Propolis are just a few of those incredible ingredients used in Philyra’s Secret products.
Before launching a new product we thoroughly test it first (never ever on animals of course but ) on ourselves, family and friends. On top of that we already have a large fan group of our products and they love to test our new products as well. Yes there will be more products but step by step, as our quality standard is very high and we want to ensure that you only get the best products from us to pamper your skin and soul.
We do the best we can. Philyra’s Secret is a European brand in every way. Our packaging (bottles, containers, jars) are all not from China to ensure a low carbon footprint. We found an amazing company in Germany which uses only recycled plastic to produce new packaging. By using airless bottles especially for our skincare, the ingredients are protected perfectly against exposure to oxygen and light. On top of that you will be able to get the last drop out of your product. We’re also working on a suitable solution for refill packaging for certain products. But as we are just starting we promiss you to always do the best we can to improve and perfect all our values on that matter.
Almost all ingredients used in Philyra’s Secret products are found, harvested and made into our little big stars on the beautiful Greek Island of Samos. The island of Samos is also known as the secret pearl of Greece. The ancient Greek called Samos ànthos, which means flower or blossom.
Given the fact that our island is ¼ of the size of Crete, it is the second richest Greek island when it comes to vegetation, plants, herbs and flowers. Some of those plants can only be found on Samos due to its unique climate. That makes us extremely grateful and proud and is one of the reasons why Philyra’s Secret is so special and unique.
Samos is also known for its huge sources of fresh water. Obviously we choose the most special one. ‘The fountain of youth’ source, which is found in the picturesque village of Vourliotes. Its sacred water is used for the production of our famous Awakening Essence.
